EMULSION-STYRENE BUTADIENE RUBBERS (E-SBR)
E-SBR is a copolymer of styrene and 1,3-butadiene produced through an emulsion polymerization process.
E-SBR is a versatile synthetic rubber that can be easily compounded with other materials. It is primarily used in the production of passenger car tires, light truck tires, and rubber compounds for general-purpose applications such as shoe soles and industrial goods.
SOLID EMULSION STYRENE-BUTADIENE RUBBERS (BUNA® SE)
Emulsion-Styrene Butadiene Rubbers have a macromolecular structure with a high degree of polymer dispersion and a low to medium level of branching.
Formulations produced using E-SBR grades are easy to process and can accommodate high filler loading.
The ARLANXEO portfolio includes both non-oil-extended grades with varying Mooney viscosities and oil-extended grades with different oil types, styrene contents, and Mooney viscosity levels.
Typical applications include tires, retread rubber, conveyor belts, industrial hoses, carpets, molded goods, and footwear soles.
